WHONET 2025 now includes updated clinical breakpoints for CLSI and EUCAST. We have also introduced a new feature to
notify you of annual breakpoint updates, as well as any time we make corrections which require you to
update your laboratory's configuration. This feature will check your configuration each time you download a new
version from our website.
-
We have added support for the EARS-Vet data collection protocol.
-
We have updated supported formats for BacLink conversions, including:
-
Updated the open-source AST Interpretation Engine with support for the 2025 breakpoints and interpretation categories mentioned above.
This utility and library are intended to be integrated with other software, so they are not relevant for typical WHONET users.
The code repository also stores the breakpoints and other important resources so that they are publicly accessible.
You can find out more information about this utility here:

WHONET and BacLink can now be installed and updated through the winget command-line utility instead of using
our website by entering the following commands (for advanced users and system administrators familiar with the command line):
winget install WHONET.WHONET
winget update WHONET.WHONET
